Albumul i-a aparținut Irinei Mavrocordat (născută Blaremberg), soția diplomatului Edgar Mavrocordat, reprezentantul diplomatic al României la Viena în 1916. Piesa de față a fost expusă în cadrul expoziției Perspectives care s-a desfășurat între 2 octombrie 2019 și 12 ianuarie 2020 la BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts din Bruxelles ca parte a EUROPALIA ROMANIA ARTS FESTIVAL.

Vintage album, 85 photographs, Carol I, Elisabeth and their German relatives, different photographic studios, approx. 1866-1883 Of these, 26 photographs are by Franz Duschek and 11 photographs are by Carol Popp de Szathmary. The "carte de visite" format photographs are kept in a splendid vintage album, made in the Wirth Frères factory in Paris. The covers are made of platinated brass, covered in black velvet and the exterior has applications in the form of a stylised plant decoration fretworked into the wood. The border is gilded and the locks are brass, decorated with vegetal figures. The cardboard boards are very well preserved and are provided with special slots to hold photos. The bound edge is covered in calf leather. The album contains 85 photographs, among which 60 represent portraits of Carol I and Queen Elisabeth in different periods, realised in Szathmary, Duschek photography studios. The rest represent portraits of Hohenzollern and Wied family members and were realised in German photographic ateliers. The main cover of the album depicts the monogram of Irina Mavrocordat.
