Carol Anton von Hohenzollern (1868-1919) was the son of Prince Leopold von Hohenzollern (1835 - 1905), older brother to King Ferdinand I. He married his cousin Josephine of Flanders (1872-1958), daughter of Count Philippe of Flanders (1837-1905) and of Maria von Hohenzollern (1845-1912), sister of King Carol I.
