One of them includes the gilded cypher of King Carol I, with golden edging. The envelope features the heading of the Royal House. Paul Lindenberg (1859 - 1943) was a German writer and journalist. In 1905 he visited Romania for the first time, founding his research for King Carol I’s biography, published in 1906.
