After returning from Paris, Ioan Spirescu (activating during the 1882-1922 period) bought the shop of Joseph Szöllösy. Renowned photographer, grealty appreciated during the time by his professor Nadar (Gaspard-Félix Tournachon) and by his only Bucharest competitor in the field, Franz Mandy, as well as by numerous clients, also being a "Photographer of the Court."
