On the 17th of April 1942, King Michael visited the "Belvedere" Tobacco Manufacturer in Bucharest, an episode that was captured in the images compiling the album. The sovereign visited all the factory's departments accompanied by his Royal suite, as well as by the establishment's management.
On the title page, the album bears the holographic signature of the factory manager.
