The icon made by Henția is a reproduction according to the work `Madonna with the Blue Diadem' (1510-11, Louvre Museum, Paris) of Raffaello Sanzio and his apprentice, Gianfrancesco Penni. The scene is present in Catholic churches and, around the year 1899, Henția was painting in Transylvania, where Greek Catholicism was present. During his later creation period, the artist Sava Henția painted a lot of churches.
