The volume contains liturgical texts, religious hymns that are sung at certain intervals. The work has undergone numerous reprints in Romania over the years. This is the second edition printed in Blaj, after that of 1760; a third edition was printed a little later, in 1783. The book is in 4° format, [1] p. + 211 p. + 101 p., printed in black and red, with 25 lines per full page. The book was published under the patronage of Empress Maria Theresa of Habsburg by the printer Petru Papavici. Copies of the work can be found in collections such as the Library of the Romanian Academy in Bucharest, the Library of the Romanian Academy - Cluj-Napoca branch, BCU Cluj, BCU Iași, BCU Bucharest, the County Library "Astra Sibiu", the Library of the Brukenthal Museum Sibiu, the National Museum of Unification Alba Iulia, the Orthodox Archbishopric Alba Iulia, the National Library of Hungary, the County Library "Gheorghe Șincai" Oradea, etc.
