The original manuscript of the famous work generally known under its generic name "The Grimani Breviary" is preserved at the manuscript department of the National Marciana Library in Venice. The work was made to order and financed by the Venetian cardinal Domenico Grimani (1461-1523). This includes 120 miniatures with religious and secular subjects in the form of splendid engravings, some manually colored after printing. This copy is part of the anastatic edition published in an Italian and French bilingual version. The binding is that of a French publisher.
