The item includes the preparation for printing of the book for a new edition. On the printed pages, Marin Preda directly intervened and implemented numerous revisions, corrections, additions and completions, all handwritten. Several detached pages, also corrected, are also preserved. The piece is unique, particularly valuable because it portrays the writer's worksite.
