Constantin Diaconovici-Loga (1770-1850) was a very active professor and author of textbooks published in Romanian for the schools of the Romanian communities in the Habsburg Empire, used mainly in Banat and Transylvania. In 1830 he was appointed director of the Romanian and Serbian schools in the region of the Banat border regiments. This work enjoyed great success at the time, being reprinted several times. The present copy is part of the first edition appeared in 1822, preserving the original title page. The binding is new, bibliophile.
