Ion Pribeagu (the pen name of Isac Lazarovici, 1887-1971) was an exceptionally prolific author, humorist and poet, well known in his time and appreciated for the quality of his literary humor. He is remembered especially for the texts of shows staged by Constantin Tănase. In 1962 he emigrated to Israel where he continued his extensive activity. The present copy is part of a luxury print run published in only 100 copies.
