The work represents a classic piece of Soviet literature, particularly edited and appreciated throughout the communist European space until the end of the 50s and the beginning of the 60s. The book was translated by Cezar Petrescu, who also signs an encomiastic preface, alongside A. Ivanovskki. The three documents that complete the lot represent: a delivery note from the Russian Book publisher to Pericle Martinescu; a press photo of Mihail Solohov; an invitation from the magazine "The Librarian's Guide" to Pericle Martinescu to attend a consultation.
