The volume represents an exceptional piece of modern bibliophilia. The authors, representatives of the 80s generation in Romanian literature, were gathered in the volume of short stories selected by the mentor and professor of the generation, the academic and literary critic Ovid Crohmălniceanu, who signs the preface. The writers each drafted a handwritten dedication, dated and signed, addressed to Magdalena Popescu-Bedrosian who was the editor of the book, thus (in the order in the volume): Mircea Nedelciu, Sorin Preda, Nicolae Iliescu, Cristian Teodorescu, George Cușnarencu, Ion Lăcustă, Emil Paraschivoiu, Hanibal Stănciulescu, Ion Bogdan Lefter, Gheorghe Iova, Gheorghe Crăciun, Gheorghe Ene, Valentin Petculescu, Mircea Cărtărescu. In this volume, the poet Cărtărescu published prose pages for the first time.
