The volume includes caricatures of actors and actresses from Bucharest active during the occupation of the southern part of Romania by the Central Powers during the First World War. These were produced by the cartoonist of the magazine "Scena", led by the editor A. de Hertz, who signs the texts alongside Adrian Maniu, Ion Pribeagu, Ap. Rodan and Orfeu.
