Mircea Suciu's works abound with iconic images, powerful symbols, and subversive messages. Inspired by contemporary society and the way man manifests himself within it according to external stimuli, targeting socio-political events and news, it creates a dark and aggressive universe, meant to draw attention to the terrifying problems of humanity in contemporary times. All the elements of this universe are chosen to empower the hard message, which need not be defined by time and space to be valid, real. The creative process is as important as the work itself and is very well structured. The elements are deconstructed, then reformed in layers, like a process of surface restoration, the final result being homogeneous, with multiple and profound valences. Works by Mircea Suciu have been included in group exhibitions such as "Scènes Roumaines", Espace Louis Vuitton, Paris (FR); "Hybride", Fondation Francès, Senlis (FR); "Sex, Money and Power", Maison Particulière, Bruxelles (BE); "Nightfall – New tendencies in Figurative Painting", MODEM, Debrecen (HU). In 2015, he had a solo exhibition at Zeno X Gallery and one at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest.
