Estimate:
EUR 2.000 - 3.000
Sold
EUR 2.000

oil and spray on canvas, 87 x 141 cm, 87 × 141 cm, signed, dated and entitled on the reverse, with black, "Andrei Tudoran, 2022, Insomnia"

Andrei Tudoran’s main concern is to explore the tensions between cultural traditions and the contemporary technological environment. His figurative works are distinguished by the insertions of the visual signs of the digital. The work "Insomnia" places two worlds in mirror-view, illustrating two paradigms of authoritarianism: the monument of the Christian martyr placed in relation with the universal user profile, in the big data age, of the two billion users and of the QR code. Andrei Tudoran has exhibited his works at the National Museum of Contemporary Art from Zagreb, at Riva Gallery, New York, but also at the National Museum of Art of Romania.

For clarifications regarding the bidding procedure, hammer price costs, guarantee, payment, and collection terms for the winning lot, we recommend carefully reading/re-reading the Bidding Regulations.
