acrylic and resin on canvas, 200 x 150 cm, signed lower right, in white, "Damian"

Research information

The artwork participated in the exhibition "Coll. Dotremont Bruxelles", Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, Rotterdam.

In Paris, Damian's new artistic approach arouses the admiration of important figures on the international scene, including Yves Klein or Salvador Dali. The artist will learn to use painting as a discourse in decoding the mysteries of human destiny and will take on the role of guide in his attempt to direct the public's attention to what he considers essential. Through the use of an expressive stylistic system and an architectural-cosmic vision, Damian continues the tradition of monument creators. His geometry can no longer be attributed to the terrestrial plane, his lines and forms converge more towards the celestial plane. The artist's work ultimately becomes a complex meditation on the sky and the infinite.
