In his 2015 article, "Thinking about Art Thinking," critic Luis Camnitzer proposes his own vision of the visual arts: a "meta-discipline" meant to extend the boundaries of other forms of thinking. This approach does not focus on how objects are produced, but rather on how they are perceived and analyzed. Thus, art is seen as a form of dialogue where all the boundaries of science and logic, as well as their opposites, are equally valid.
