Mrs. Doina Lemny, PhD in art history, former researcher-curator at the National Museum of Modern Art, Pompidou Center in Paris, had the kindness to confirm the authenticity of this work in 2019.

PROVENANCE

According to the previous owner's statement regarding the source of acquisition, this comes from the historic collection of Ion Alexandrescu, the carver of Constantin Brancusi during the 1937-1938 period within the monumental projects of the sculptural ensemble in Targu Jiu.
