One of the most important Romanian female writers of the 20th century, Cella Serghi established herself in the local literature as early as the interwar period, just after her successful debut with "Spider Web". A muse and a friend of artists such as Merica Râmniceanu or Magdalena Rădulescu, her face was depicted in an important series of portraits, out of which this one is perhaps the most significant.
