Obverse: "IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P COS V P P" Reverse: COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC On its obverse, the coin presents Emperor Trajan's bust, wearing a laurel wreath, oriented towards right, alongside the abbreviation of the Latin phrase 'Imperator, Caesar, Nervae Traiano Augustus, Germanicus, Dacicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Quintum, Pater Patriae', while its reverse illustrates a trophy of weapons consisting of breastplates, shields and spears, surrounded by the abbreviation of the words 'Consul Quintum, Pater Patriae, Senatus Populusque Romanus, Optimo Principi'.
