Fota respectă formă și compoziția tradiționale ale zonei Muscel: piesă dreptunghiulară cu 3 chenare dispuse pe 2 lațuri și un șir de motive independente pe "Trupul" (partea superioară) piesei. Compoziția se bazează în chenarul central pe o rețea compactă de romburi cu coarnele berbecului și x-uri iar celelalte 2 registre cu romburi înlănțuite. Cromatica: fond negru și motive cu argintiu și auriu și bumbac roz, mov și albastru.
