Ecaterina Vrana lives and works in Bucharest. She graduated in painting from the Academy of Arts in Bucharest in 1997. She has participated in several collective exhibitions, such as Bladly Happy: Pain, Pleasure and Panic in Recent Romanian Art, The Performance Art Institute, San Francisco, 2011, Funeraria (MNAC, 2011), Zoomania (MNAC, 2010), From Bucharest to Paris – A Panorama of Romanian Art, Druot, Paris, 2008. Her works are exhibited in public and private collections in Romania, Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and the US.
