George Coșbuc redacta o simpatică epigramă la cafenea, alături de Ștefan Luchian și de un prieten: „Eu, Luchian, omul frumos/Eu, Iulian, omul năuc/Și eu, sucitul George Coșbuc/Decidem/Să ni se facă câte o cafea/(Cacofonia, zău, nu e rea!)/Cine va face-o, e lucru mare/Din partea noastră o sărutare!/Mai sus iscăliții/Și-acum căliții/Și rău pârliții/Cei trei bețivi”. Documentul este olograf și datat 18 martie 1905.
