Icoană rusească reprezentând chipul lui Hristos Pantocrator, adică Învățător. Este ipostaza cel mai des reluată, arătând importanța crucială a învățăturii în creștinism. Genul acesta de icoană e poate cel mai frecvent întâlnită în secolul al XIX-lea și era prezentă în orice casă a celor cu dare de mână, căci prețul ei nu era chiar la îndemâna oricui.
