Research information

A version of the engraving is reproduced in "Repertoriul Graficii Românești din secolul al XIX-lea" ("Repertoir of Romanian Graphic Art in the 19th Century"), vol., I, cat. 181. The work is an interpretation of "Idilă rustică" ("Rustic Idyll"), a work preserved by the Arad County Museum, and one version of the engraving is reproduced in "Centenar Theodor Aman" ("Theodor Aman Centennial"), cat. 142.
