Piesa face parte din structura decorativă a interiorului casei tradiţionale aşezându-se pe perete, după farfuriile decorative. Decorul vegetal (vrej) şi astral (steluţe) este concentrat la capete în trei registre, iar câmpul central este decorat cu romburi şi dreptunghiuri din năvădit. Motivele sunt alese cu vişiniu şi albastru pe fond alb.
