În 1915, în cadrul expoziției Tinerimii Artistice, Ipolit Strâmbu era prezent cu o însemnată suită de lucrări, fiind printre cei mai bine reprezentați artiști din expoziție, alături de Constantin Artachino, Gh. Petrașcu sau Arthur Verona.
