Absolvind Institutul de Arte Plastice din Bucureşti la clasa de pictură monumentală a lui Ion Stendl, Laura Covaci revine în ţară după o îndelungată absenţă, timp în care înscrie în portofoliul său o bogată activitate expoziţională pe plan internaţional. Timp de patru ani a beneficiat de un contract de exclusivitate cu Trinity Gallery, lucrând şi trăind în SUA. Ulterior, este reprezentată de Galeria Art Saint Germain 208 și expune în cercurile artistice pariziene. În prezent, lucrările sale pot fi admirate şi în Bucureşti, la galeria artă contemporană AnnArt Gallery.
