Emanuel Borcescu is one of the artists who dares to approach politically and socially hot topics using fine irony. Although he had initially planned to create three, Emanuel Borcescu reached a considerable number of 30 dwarfs, gathered in the installation exhibited in the University Square in 2015. The intervention in the public space with this project overlapped with the 25th anniversary of the violence of June 13-15, 1990. Only self-irony can help us live with the obsessions of the past and the historical irreversible damage. According to the curator of the exhibition, Ioana Ciocan, "The garden dwarf - mine worker, as object of an assumed kitsch, puts back in a new, critical and lucid perspective, the errors of recent history."
