Mă simt tot mai mult legat de fondul curat și clar al icoanelor pe sticlă. Dar ele trebuie ridicate la o formă clasică, numai așa se poate trece peste simplul citat folcloric. Există o rigoare, o cadență interioară și pot spune că trebuie simțite bătăile de inimă care vin din ele. Mi-a trebuit mult timp să le aud (Ion Alin Gheorghiu).
