Tempera and gold foil on glaze, stained frame, with comb decoration., 45 x 40 cm
Seated on a decorated chest, on the lower part with diamonds, Jesus squeezes, into a chalice, the grapes of the vine grown from His own side. In the background, the Cross of Crucifixion looms. The upper part of the background is sky-blue, the lower is decorated with vertical parallel lines. (M.B.)
