Suportul de Coran de față este persan și este lucrat in tehnică khatam kari. Aceasta este arta de a lucra un khatam, mai precis, un obiect din lemn cu încrustații din os și alte metale delicat tăiate în forme geometrice. Măsuța de față este realizată în această tehnică și datează de la jumatatea secolului XIX. Inscripțiile de pe cele două picioare ale măsuței suport sunt scrise în limba persană și se referă la artizan, respectiv la comanditar.
