Ambele fețe ale lamei din oțel cromat sunt bogat decorate cu un model vegetal stilizat gravat. La mijlocul fiecărei fețe se află, pe una, stema regală și numele ofițerului respectiv, iar pe cealaltă simbolul armei artileriei. Mânerul este din textolit înconjurat de o gardă treflată. Piesa se remarcă prin masivitate.
