Născută la Blaj, a urmat cursurile Academiei de Arte frumoase din Cluj. La Cluj a expus prima dată la al doilea Salon de artă Transilvană din 1930, iar la București, un an mai târziu, tot la Salon, ocazie cu care Tonitza a apreciat-o ca una din cele mai bune portretiste expuse în acel an.
