The work includes the biographies and portraits of the members of the Assembly of Deputies and the members of the Senate of Romania for the period 1866 - 1901. The portraits are rendered as small heliogravures. It also includes the members of the government in office at the time of the book's publication. Much of the information included in the work is particularly hard to find in other sources. The piece retains the original period cover. The two covers and the spine show signs of wear.
