1908 will mark the artist's departure to Paris, where he would study at the "Ranson" Free Academy, yet he would assimilate the real "artistic education" in Parisian museums, as well as by closely observing life in the big city. During this period of time, his work would focus mainly on the cosmopolitan world, which led an abundant life, full of luxury and prosperity, and which the artist will try to render as loyally as possible. The result of his French-based creation will receive a more concrete form in Romania at a later date, in a collective exhibition organised in Bucharest, at the Athenaeum Palace (5th of November - 1st of December 1909), during which Iser was bound to display 103 works. (humorous drawings, gender scenes, Paris and Trouville landscapes). (E.C.)
