Back from Paris, Pallady often found refuge in places near Iasi, from where he would capture sceneries such as: "Moldavian Marks", "Moldavia", "Houses Near Iași", "Hill Village" or images of the village of Hoisești. The year 1900 also marked his debut at the (Paris) Salon, and his participation in the Universal Exhibition in Paris, where he exhibited his composition "L' Enfant prodigue" (GM)
