Among the themes approached by the artist Aman we find the historical subjects, the portraits, the oriental scenes, and subjects inspired by the life of the man from the people, the latter transposing in the Romanian painting a new focus on the rural life. In addition to the national dress picturesque, highlighted as an artist, he tries to link the characters to the purpose of work and living in the village, revealing himself as a faithful interpreter of his time. Depicting scenes and types from the rural environment, his works will be crossed, in addition to the idyllic visionary, by strong critical accents. Thus, the hard life will be represented in works such as: "Gathered at polenta", "Stop During Field Work", "Bear Trainer", "In front of the house", "Peasant with a hat in his hand", "Children with cattle" and s.o.
