"Harta generală a Transilvaniei" a fost realizată în 1789 de cartograful Anton von Wenzely (1747-1825) şi publicată de Franz Anton Schrämbl (1751, Viena – 13 decembrie 1803), librar şi scriitor austriac (nach geometrisch gemessenen Karten, und andern zuverlæssigen Hilfsmitteln verjüngt, und graduirt von Herrn A. von Wenzely Hofbuchhalterey Raitoffizier im Baudepartement; herausgegeben von Herrn F. A. Schræmbl MDCCLXXXIX). O lucrare cu adevărat meritorie a lui Schrämbl rămâne "Allgemeiner grosser Atlas" (Marele atlas general), în 136 de coli format mare, a căror publicare a durat între 1786 și 1800.
