Splendidă colecţie de 16 tomuri despre istoria Imperiului Roman, de la anul I al Romei (753 î.Hr.), până în anul 1453, la căderea Constantinopolului. Într-o stare foarte bună şi cu coperţile originale, această amplă lucrare istorică i se datorează lui Laurence Echard (1670–1730), istoric englez, caruia i se atribuie de asemenea şi lucrarea, "The history of England: from the first entrance of Julius Caesar and the Romans to the end of the reign of King James the first containing the space of 1678 years", printre primele lucrări complexe care cercetează amănunţit istoria Angliei.
