In addition to the handwritten dedication, dated and signed, of the editor of Creangă's work, the copy contains numerous interventions on the text made by Cioculescu, several parts from literary magazines with articles about Creangă, and a facsimile of a manuscript of the author's "Amintiri din copilărie" ("Childhood Memories"). Șerban Cioculescu managed to reconstruct the route of the volume that was part of the Constantin Bobulescu collection, first, and Petre Nistor, later.
