Sculptorul Fritz Diller (1876-1946) a colaborat cu Atelierele Rosenthal în perioada 1913-1946, reușind să modeleze numeroase figuri animaliere. Cerbul tânăr, pictat în nuanțe de gri închis, este reprezentat în picioare într-o poziție ușor încordată. Figurina este fixată pe un postament oval decorat cu vegetație.
