The three angels, blessing, are received as guests by Abraham. They sit around a table on which are placed several vessels, cutlery, breads, and radishes. Abraham and Sara are missing from the picture. Conventional architectures frame the tree under which the dinner took place. A piece of canvas hangs over the buildings, such veils indicating, in old icons, the mystery that shrouded the illustrated event. (A.D.)
