A similar icon was published in "... Through me, Ioan Pop Zugravul", by Ioana Rustoiu, Elena Băjenaru, Ana Dumitran and Szőcs Fülöp Károly, Alba Iulia, 2008, page 78, position 32.

Sitting on a throne inspired by the Brâncovenesc style and wearing a crown, the Mother of God holds the Baby on her left arm and directs to him with her right hand. The Baby, with his left hand leaning on his knee, holds the cruciger orb, and with his right, he blesses the viewer, looking however at his mother's face. (A.D.)
