The writer Ion Caraion (1923-1986) was in charge of the Romanian translation of this novel published by the American novelist Sherwood Anderson, which he offered with a beautiful dedication to Domnița Gherghinescu, the muse of the literary circle in Brașov initiated and led by her husband, the poet Vania Gherghinescu.
