The map of Dacia, Moesia and Thrace was edited by the German cartographer and historian Philip Cluver (1580-1622), considered the founder of historical geography, as part of his work "Italia Antiqua", published posthumously in 1624 in Leiden. Engraving on copper hand-coloured after printing.
