The scene takes place in the courtyard of a house, with a red and green curtains background. The Virgin, kneeling in front of a table with low legs, reads from a book, which preserves the inscription "Annunciation", written in black. The Archangel appears to her, holding a bouquet of lilies in his hand and warning of the dove of the Holy Spirit, pouring out divine rays. On the bottom left we find the marking of the year, "1856".
