Double-sided commemorating icons are used in the church, placed on the tetrapod for worship, whether it is a feast or a feast of saints. On the golden background of the icon, against a background of conventional architectures, the scene of Jesus’ presentation in the Temple takes place. The Virgin Mary enters the Temple accompanied by the prophetess Anna and Joachim, who holds two turtledoves in his arms. In front of the altar table, Saint Simion receives in his arms Baby Jesus presented by the Virgin Mary with a gesture of adoration ("This child shall save the world"). The composition is balanced, the harmonious movement is marked by an intense experience of the moment. The characters are rendered in accordance with the style of the Brâncoveanu-era painting regarding the typology of faces and the draping of garments. The chromatic dominated by red, green, blue and umber that vibrates on the gold background gives the painting a touch of glory and richness specific to the Brâncoveanu-era style. The scene designation inscription is written in red letters in the old Slavic language "Streatenia Gospodina" (Greeting of the Lord). On the reverse, the three Hierarchs are rendered standing on a golden background, clothed in high priest’s attire, holding the Gospel in the left hand close to the chest and signalling a blessing sign with the right hand. They have halos around their heads. The painted faces have the characteristic typology, the vivid chromatic of the garments, richly adorned with golden embroideries and pearls that vibrate against the golden background give a touch of brightness to the painting. The inscription in red, in the Old Slavic language: "Sveati Vasilie", "Sveati Ioan Zlataust" and "Sveati Grigorie Bogaslov".
