Mastering the fullness and perfection of the compositional elements, the colours, together with the determination to translate the invisible into an image, Damian's creation will eliminate the responsibility towards what is perceived, towards the form or the object. Themes such as the column, the sky, the earth, the throne, the sphinx, the sarcophagus or the pyramid will become perpetual themes over time, suggesting his search for meaning, significance and the creation of an inner world. With an architectural and cosmogonic vision, the artist will approach immemorial times and meanings, appealing to geometric rigours and monumentality, thus intuiting the meanings of a real infinity. (G.M.)
